Students who enter the CPTP with prior graduate training may, with individualized approval, accelerate their Ph.D. training program. For example, students who have a master’s degree based upon an empirical thesis may be allowed to substitute the master’s thesis for the master’s equivalency research project requirement of our program. Previous graduate courses may be allowed to substitute for some CPTP program requirements with approval of the UNL faculty member who regularly teaches the course.
