UNL Association of Neuropsychology Students & Trainees (ANST) Interest Group

ANST is the trainee organization of the Society of Clinical Neuropsychology (SCN, Division 40 of the APA). ANST serves as a professional community for students and early-career individuals interested in clinical neuropsychology, providing opportunities for education, a supportive trainee community, and career development.

UNL’s ANST Interest Group was established in 2023 by students Heather Bouchard and Rachael Snyder in their 3rd and 4th years under the faculty sponsorship of Dr. Kathy Chiou. Their goal was to create a space for those interested in neuropsychology, or clinical assessment broadly, to engage in case presentations, hear from experts in the field, and foster peer collaboration. Previous initiatives also included creating a more inclusive normative database for neuropsychological assessments and resources for applying to internship sites with a major emphasis in neuropsychology.

We invite you to join our monthly meetings throughout the school year to engage with peers, discuss current topics in neuropsychology, and stay informed about training and professional opportunities within the field. This organization is open to all undergraduate and graduate students at UNL, including those not affiliated with the Clinical Psychology Training Program, who are interested in learning more about neuropsychological and psychological assessment.
